Testimonials

We loved our recent stay in this quaint cabin located in the Rainbow Campgrounds. It was quiet and peaceful in a beautiful setting next to a trout fishing stream. We stayed there so that we could bike the Virginia Creeper Trail (which we did and loved) but the cabin has a whole list of other hiking and places to explore. We also went up to the big lake Laurel Bed Lake which is a fifteen minute lovely drive from the cabin. During the summer I am sure that both the lake and streams are great for swimming. The stream has absolutely beatufil little waterfalls. The cabin had all the necessary amenities and I lovely front porch and outdoor fire pit. Definitely recommend!!

We came up for a weekend away and enjoyed our stay. The campground is well kept and quiet. The locals are welcoming and make you feel like family. Our children enjoyed the story telling and Mountain Music. The camp ground offers easy access to trout fishing and the lake.

This is my far the best place to relax and fish you will ever find. The couple that run this are super outstanding people. They take care of ever need we had. They make you feel like this is the place you want come back too. God bless this camp ground.
