I stayed here this winter during my nursing contract and it was fantastic! So quiet all the time and we had an amazing spot right next to the big creek. It was great hearing the creek all the time. The campground is kept up nicely and it’s in a great location. Right down the road from a huge lake in the mountains with great fishing. Horse shoe tournaments every weekend. This has been my favorite campsite so far on my travels. The owner is very nice and attentive as well.

Amazing area! This is an excellent place for families to fish and camp! We enjoyed going here for a family fishing trip.Very clean campground area, Friendly people, good areas to fish, easy to navigate and access, scenic area with beautiful water flowing/falls. If you like to hike, fish, enjoy scenic views, enjoy nature and peace it's a great place to go. It's only minutes away from the lake access for fishing if you want to take a boat. Definitely would recommend this area to families who just like to enjoy spending time in nature.

I didn't stay here just stopped by to look around for a future possibility. But it's a nice area just across the road from the river and at the bottom of Clinch Mountain Wildlife Reserve. Just up the road are tons of great fishing spots, hiking, waterfalls, and Laurel Bed Lake.
