*******Trophy Trout Week is back at Big Tumbling Creek beginning the week of June 14, 2021!!!
We are located next door to the Clinch Mountain Wildlife Management Area https://dwr.virginia.gov/wma/clinch-mountain/which boosts 25,0000+ acres of hunting, fishing, hiking, kayaking, boating, horseback riding, wildlife viewing, and nature photography.
A fee fishing area is open on Clinch Mountain WMA 7 days a week during the fee fishing season, which runs from the first Saturday in April through September 30. The area consists of approx. 7 miles of Big Tumbling Creek. Sections of the creek are stocked 4 times per week during the fee fishing season. A daily permit and a valid state fishing license is required to fish the fee area. From October 1 through June 15th parts of Big Tumbling are stocked on a Class A schedule(8 times) and will require a valid state fishing license and trout license. Laurel Bed Lake (330 acres) offers trophy Smallmouth Bass fishing as well as other species of fish.
